“If Roy Wood wasn’t at the bar shaking his head he would be rolling in his grave.” – Brumbeat
The first release on our new Krokodilo Tapes imprint is a document of live performance by Family Sex.
Pocket money synth-punk. The authentic sound of neglected A-level study. C86…sort of. Featuring Karl ‘Regis’ O’Connor.
Most of the music featured was recorded in the Refectory of St Philip’s Sixth Form College, Birmingham, across two sessions (lunchtime and evening) on July 7th, 1986. Also included are a short home demo (‘Lick It Up’) and two tracks recorded live at the Barrel Organ, Birmingham, on December 27th, 1986 and September 19th, 1987.
This is a cassette-only release, sourced from the original master “Refectory Tapes”, and will not be made available digitally or on any other format.
